Shellie Salza said...: Adison asks that too. Unfortunately, he's no stranger to death at the ripe old age of 3 1/2, so I have to tread very lightly when answering. The good thing is we have an amazing truth and hope to share with our kiddos! Cindy said...: I once read a helpful way to help explain death to kids. It's simple and to the point. People (or pets) die for one of three reasons: Either they were too sick to live any longer, too hurt to live any longer, or too old to live any longer." Often, that is enough for a young child. Of course there's more to it than that, but it's always best to take it slow with a topic like that. Good job!; April 23, 2008 at 10:19 PM
